Moore & more!

Everyone, everyday, celebrates a birth day.  Not just the day they were birthed, but those days they are born and reborn.  Whether this birth is a physical one or a spiritual one, it deserves recognition and celebration.

This series is a collection of all the Biblical verses represented by my physical birth date, that I have birthed into a new message for all of you.  There are 29 in all.  I will try and write a message each week for each one, in no particular order.

I hope you will enjoy.  Also, check out my other works at:

Exodus 8:18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

18 The magicians tried with their secret arts to bring forth gnats, but they could not; so there were gnats on man and beast.

All things happen in our lives for a season or time.  Sometimes, they are good things and sometimes they are not.  And surprisingly, you would think, we would remember all of the good things, vividly, repeatedly, graciously and thankfully. But we do not.  We do, however, remember the bad things vividly, repeatedly, fearfully and regrettably.

Much like the plagues set for upon the Israelites, the epidemics of our lives, the problems with the biggest pains are often duplicated, replicated, procreated, or propagated because we often do as Pharaoh did, and harden our hearts and spirits, because we feel that God did not help us out of it.  Well that’s not God’s job!  You need to clean up what you mess up, you got to sweep around your own front door.

We’ve all got plagues engulfing our lives

               CV-19                         HIV/AIDS                 Heart disease            Diabetes

               Sexism                       Racism                    Terrorism                    Bills

               Mortgage/Rent       Loans                      Childcare                     Eldercare

Whatever the plague is in and around your life, whatever addictions, afflictions, complications, disruptions, infections, irritations, obstructions, or tribulations are happening; God is in control.  Nobody can do, what God can.   And those who think they can and can’t, will only shift the blame somewhere else. But if you hold onto your faith, God can work with you, He can work for you.  See it’s okay if you are a little mistrusting, it’s okay if you have some doubt, it’s okay if you continuously cry, “I can’t!”… as long as you hold onto your faith.  God can call you out of anything – including your own excuses.

With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” ~ Matthew 19:26 ESV

I can do all things through him who strengthens me. ~ Philippians 4:13

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? ~ Romans 8:31 ESV

God is the way-maker, the miracle-worker, the provider, the King of Kings.  We all need to make the decision to stand on God’s word.  We need to know that with this faith, all things will work out – maybe not how we planned them to, be how they are meant to be.

The magicians tried to do what God did, but they could not, and neither can we.  We say….”Show me, and I’ll trust you”  but God says, “Trust me, and I’ll show you”
