Exodus 8:18 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 18 The magicians tried with their secret arts to bring forth gnats, but they could not; so there were gnats on man and beast. Much like the plagues set for upon the Israelites, the epidemics of our lives, the problems with the biggest pains are often duplicated, replicated, procreated, or propagated because we often do as Pharaoh did, and harden our hearts and spirits, because we feel that God did not help us out of it. Well that’s not God’s job! You need to clean up what you mess up, you got to sweep around your own front door. We’ve all got plagues engulfing our lives CV-19 HIV/AIDS Heart disease Diabetes Sexism Racism Terrorism Bills Mortgage/Rent Loans Childcare Eldercare Whatever the plague is in and around your life, whatever addictions, afflictions, complications, disruptions, infections, irritations, obstructions, or tribulations are happening; God is in control. Nobody can do, what God can. And those who think they can and can’t, will only shift the blame somewhere else. But if you hold onto your faith, God can work with you, He can work for you. See it’s okay if you are a little mistrusting, it’s okay if you have some doubt, it’s okay if you continuously cry, “I can’t!”… as long as you hold onto your faith. God can call you out of anything – including your own excuses.
God is the way-maker, the miracle-worker, the provider, the King of Kings. We all need to make the decision to stand on God’s word. We need to know that with this faith, all things will work out – maybe not how we planned them to, be how they are meant to be. The magicians tried to do what God did, but they could not, and neither can we. We say….”Show me, and I’ll trust you” but God says, “Trust me, and I’ll show you” |
